Could your animal benefit from seeing a chiropractor?

Chiropractic treatment for animals usually applies to horses and dogs, but Leigh believes almost any animal can benefit from treatment for injuries, chronic musculoskeletal problems, or simply to maintain animals in peak health.

Here are some common systems to look out for when considering chiropractic therapy for your animal.

A horse or dog, for example, may be performing less well while competing or working, develop an uneven gait or show resistance to exercise.

A dog may yelp or cry when jumping into the car or onto the sofa or may shy away from being touched or groomed.

A horse may become irritable whilst being tacked up or groomed.

Or maybe the animal is just behaving uncharacteristically. They are just not themselves.

If any of these symptoms are observed or there is a general change in behaviour with no apparent reason, your animal may require chiropractic treatment.
